Inorganic Chemistry, Fluorine Chemistry, Synthesis, New Ligands
Stanley Williamson has research interests in inorganic synthesis problems as they pertain to the utilization of highly halogenated reagents with a variety of organic and inorganic substrates. His current work involves the development of fluorinated ligands for use in organometallic chemistry. Williamson is also interested in expanding the role of many classical inorganic reagents in new aspects of organometallic/transition metal chemistry.
